Steel Grating

Grating is used as a modern building material. Its multifunctionality hardly limits its scope: beginning with industrial companies, up to the objects of civil and private usage, and also for the sport complexes. It is a kind of mesh gratings, made of metal supporting bars and bracing members of mild steel, joined by methods of welding or molding.

Steel grating has a number of advantages before other types of flooring. First of all it is high strength, resistance to stress, durability and ease of installation. Constructions made of mesh gratings are light, effective and reliable in operation compared with other construction materials.

Steel gratings are applied at regional planning, and are popular due to ther simplicity and convenience. Mesh gratings are visually pleasant, and meet any design requirements.

According to the production techbology, gratings are divided into two main categories: welded grating and molded grating.

Welded grating Welded grating

Welded steel grating is made by means of contact welding. It consists of metal supporting bars and bracing members of mild steel. Anticorrosive protection was made by means of hot-dip galvanizing method according to the standard EN ISO 1461. Bar grating is strong, it is easy for use and maintenance. It is used as a constructional element of engineering areas, connecting bridges, overpasses and metal constructions for any purpose in industrial and civil engineering.

Molded grating Molded grating

Molded grating is made by method of mounting the bearing elements of low-carbon steel with hot zinc-coating. It is widely used at industrial and civil buiding, for improvement of urban areas.
