Channels can be made of polymer concrete: high-strength compound with mineral extender on the epoxy base.
Polymer concrete is two times stronger and lighter than traditional concrete on the basis of water and cement. It is not susceptible to aggressive environments. It is waterproof, frost-resisting, it has high durability and capacity for strikes and dynamic activity.
The channels DN100 H60 are shallow sections developed for collection and drainage of surface water in the places with limited depth of laying (garages, balconies, roofs, parking areas, multistoried parking areas).
The sides of the channels are strengthened by the specific galvanized steel clip-on angles and can be used in the conditions with extreme loads on the roads.
It is possible to produce drainage systems with vertical spillways (art. 701009)
Due to new fixing system it is possible to fix a cast-iron or a steel mesh grating on the channels with hydraulic cross section of 100 mm and heght of 60 mm, which makes them stronger and more reliable.

Accessories
End caps are designed for installation at the beginning or the end of the channel. They are made of galvanized steel.

In order to avoid displacement and noise at journey of cars, lit is possible to fix gratings to a channel with the help of antivandal fixing latches.
It reinforces channel edges, increases its durability. It is made of galvanized steel.

Prevents the ingress of leaves and other debris into the sewer pipe.

Trash boxes
Trash boxes
Trash box, trash catcher or so called sand catcher is developed to prevent storm sewage from sand and other trash. So water, filtered from sand and other mud, which is caught in special plastic box, drains into storm sewage. The plastic box is located in the lower part of the trashbox. If it is full, the box should be taken out, emptied and put inside again.
Trash box is usually mounted at the end of the channels line, before the inlet to the sewage. The front and side walls are provided with tube connection d=110 mm, and for trash boxes DN110, 160, 200, 300 - d=110 mm and d=160 mm. Reccomendations for installation are the same as for installation of systems of surface drainage.

Installation
Installation
- The channels are placed in the trench on the bottoming of hard concrete B15 10 cm thick. Side strengthening is made of concrete slants from the sides to the foundation 10 cm wide from each side.
- The channel should be deep enough for the top of grating in the end of the installation be 3-5 mm lower than road covering.
- The installation should begin with mounting the trashbox in the lower part of the plan, from which by means of cords there should be marked the line of laying of the channel.
- The channels are connected line-on-line, that is why they have a slot on one side and tongue on the other. The junctions should not be additionally sealed.
- When connecting the channels angularly the channels and the gratings should be cut and joint "в ус". The channel should be cut with handsaw with diamond disc, transversely to the channel capturing two sides at once.
- In cases of installation of the channels in the asphalt coverage the gratings should be covered with strip of fibreboard or other material.
- Asphalt areas should be laid with channels covered with gratings. It is inadmissible for asphalt paver or lorry to drive onto the channels.
- For the concrete covering it is necessary to provide expansion joints - parallel to the drainage line in the distance 1.5-2 cm from each side and transversely in the distance of 5 m to each other.
- When installing in the places of permanent vehicle traffic the channels should be necessarily laid on the concrete 10 cm foundation.
- The drainage is connected to the sewer system through the trashbox by means of the branch pipe polyvinylchloride D100. The plug of the outlet should be taken off from the body of the trashbox before.
- When connecting the drainage to the sewer system through vertical branch pipe without trashbox it is necessary to release the hole from the plug on the bottom. The gag should be drilled on the contour (drill diameter 8 mm) and with light strike of a hammer the plug should be removed. Branch pipe polyvinylchloride D100 should be placed in the hole. As the second variant of outlet there can be used an end cap with horizontal branch pipe polyvinylchloride D100.
- Point storm water drainage are connected to the sewer system escaping the trashbox also by means of branch pipe polyvinylchloride D100.
- It is necessary to clean the system periodically from trash. The cover should be taken off, the filter should be emptied. The frequency of cleaning depends on the conditions of use and is not less than 2-4 times per month.
